Hello I have Adobe Acrobat Reader that allows me to edit, organise pages and comment. I purchased Adobe Export pdf back in 2015. It does everything I need and I don't want to change. Tonight when I tried to open it, the message came up for a 7 day free trial of Adobe DC and I dont want to trial this, but everytime I closed the window essentially saying no to the trial, it closes Adobe so I cannot open any pdfs without doing the trial. Would appreciate any help thanks

Adobe DC performance
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is running very slow opening up PDF files. I'm using an Intel Core i5 processor with 16GB's of RAM and a Windows 10 OS. I have already tried a lot of the suggestions posted on the forum but nothings worked so far.
I have tried the below..
Reinstalling the latest version.
Open Reader's preferences and go to the "General" category. Uncheck the two "Show online storage..." options. This will not connect to Adobe's "Document Cloud" when you try to open a document.
Open Reader's preferences and go to the "Documents" category. Set the number of files in the recently used list to 1 (this will remove all your files that you have recently used from that list). If this fixes your problem, then there may be something wrong with one of the files that you've recently used (e.g. a network drive no longer being available).
Open Reader's preferences and go to the "Security (Enhanced)" category and set "Protected View" to "Off" and uncheck "Enable Enhanced Security".

Dauer Berechtigungsprüfung Student and Teacher Edition?
Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
wie lange dauert die Aktivierung der Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 Student and Teacher Edition derzeit in etwa?
Ich habe mich am Donnerstagabend auf: www.adbobe.com/go/eduverify_de angemeldet, alle erforderlichen Angaben gemacht und ein Dokument für meinen Berechtigungsnachweis eingefügt und meinen E-Mail-Account verifiziert. Seitdem warte ich auf den Erhalt meiner Seriennummer.
In der Anmeldebestätigung stand, dass ich die Seriennummer innerhalb von drei Tagen (ich nehme an, gemeint sind drei Werktage) erhalten werde. Die drei Tage sind jetzt um.

See PDFs in Recent List after viewed in Outlook
Hello! Thank you for your attention ... we recently started using Adobe Reader DC and we realized that it is not possible to see in recent documents those that are opened from Outllook, that is, it is necessary to save them out of Outlook so that they can be seen in recent documents. Adobe Reader 19.010.20064 crashes on startup on RDS
Hello,
Two of my W2016 RDS session host servers auto updated their Adobe Reader DC today and it broke, within several seconds after starting it up it crashes, this is very similar to a previous problem which occurred a number of months ago..
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2019.008.20071 crashes after 15 seconds on RDS farm
I disabled the auto updating on all servers which hadn't updated.
Surprisingly an install and then reinstall appeared to resolve the issue.

a comment bubble automatically appear whenever i highlight some text
Recently, there seem to have been a new update with adobe acrobat reader DC. Since then, whenever i highlight some text, a comment bubble automatically appears. This is very frustrating! Anyone has any tips ? If this option cannot be disabled, I'm afraid I'll have to find another pdf reader because this is too annoying and keeps me from reading and highlighting texts probably.

My emailed PDFs show blank pages on receiving side.
Hello,
I use Google Chrome and the latest Acrobat DC reader on a two year old laptop. There has never been any kind of issues sending, receiving, printing or opening a PDF until recently. I either download or scan documents into a pdf file then attached at the bottom of my emails inside Gmail. I've done this for years with no issues. I can view, open and print with no problems on my end.
I have multiple recipients tell me they only get blank pages on their end. I've tried removing and reloading the software, checked for updates, unchecked security boxes inside the software as well as contacted Adobe customer care who remotely connected to my computer, they found everything seemed normal but couldn't explain.
Lastly, when a recipient sends my email back with the same PDF, I also only get blank pages of the document. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Can't add date in a "fill and sign" W-4 document. How do I do this?
I selected "Fill and sign" on a W-4 document. I was able to fill in everything but the date. It isn't allowing me to do this. Any ideas for a solution?

Hiding tool pane on right side
Continuation of How do I remove the right hand pane in Reader DC (LOCKED)
It seems that it is still not possible to ALWAYS hide the tool pane on the right side? I know that it is possible to hide it by clicking but don't like this bebause:
1. have to to this always when I open a .pdf file
2. it slows down the launch of the Reader
It was possible to permanently hide the toolbar some time ago but now it seems that this feature was removed again? Please look at the thread mentioned above. A LOT OF PEOPLE having this issue!

Reader automatically launching at startup - why?
Suddenly yesterday, Reader is launching automatically when I boot up by MacBook Pro. Anyone know why -- and how to stop it??

Default zoom
Hi, when I open a document the zoom level is quite low (for example 50.5%) and I need to ctrl+plus several times to bring it up to a readable 100%.
How can I change the default zoom level? The options in preferences -> page display or preferences -> accessibility don't seem to do anything, even after exiting and reopeing in the application.

Cannot install Acrobat Reader
Hi,
Ive just installed a new hard drive on my Mac and reinstalling all my software from scratch. I have tried for the last few days to install Acrobat Reader with no luck. It makes like its installing and then it stop when it gets to the scripts and throws out an error message and then it fails:
This is a brand new installation so there were no pre-existing Adobe apps. I really need Acrobat to work. Any suggestions?
Any assistance would be appreciated.
