Acrobat failed to connect DDE Server error in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on Windows 10 (64 bit)
i open 1 pdf file after that it shows the message look like this: "Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE Server.".
My question is: How can i fix this Fatal error?

Fill & Sign: Can I disable the new form field "guessing" feature in acrobat reader?
A recent update to Acrobat Reader DC introduced a new feature to Fill & Sign that I am finding more frustrating than useful.
I frequently fill out documents that are not actual PDF forms. A lot of them are small town government application forms that were probably made in Microsoft Word and exported as a PDF. I use Fill & Sign to type in all the details and save myself hours of handwriting the same information repeatedly.
I used to be able to pick whatever area I want to type, adjust the font size to look decent on the document, and then keep going. Acrobat would remember I font choice. This system has worked brilliantly for the last couple of years (since I started using it).
A recent update introduce a new feature that tries to guess where form fields are located. That's a fine feature; it doesn't always guess right, but I can still choose a different spot if I want to. My problem is that is doesn't honor any font choices. Every field is assigned a different font size that Acrobat has decided is suitable, and it looks extremely unprofessional.
Even worse, it resets my font size choice for custom areas if I even accidentally click into one of the "guessed" field areas.
Can this feature be disabled?

"AI" files open fine except when hyperlinked from Excel
Good afternoon!
We need a handful of computers in our company to be able to view ".ai" files via hyperlinks in network-located Excel spreadsheets. As these are not designer stations, these computers do not have Adobe Illustrator, so they must open these files with Acrobat Reader DC.
The issue: When clicking the hyperlink, Excel will throw the error - "No program is registered to open this file."
Steps we have taken:
- We have contacted Microsoft Support and have done extensive troubleshooting. On two computers, this problem was completely fixed by installing the latest version of Acrobat Reader DC. Three computers still throw the error - these computers have the same versions of (1) Windows, (2) Office, and (3) Acrobat Reader DC.
- We have tried directly opening these ".ai" files and they open just fine in Acrobat Reader DC.
- We have tried making a hyperlink within an Outlook email and that link, when clicked, opens the ".ai" with no error, in Acrobat Reader DC.
- We have ensured all these computers are on the same version of Windows
- We have ensured all these computers are running the most recent version of Office 365.
- We have updated all of these computers to the latest version of Acrobat Reader DC.
- We have quadruple checked "File Associations" in windows, to ensure ".ai" files are set to open in Acrobat Reader DC.
- I have reached out to Adobe twice via live chat: The first contact informed me that I must log in to the computer throwing the error in order to troubleshoot the cause. When I did so, that tech spent nearly 2 hours confirming that I was an Adobe CC customer, only to tell me in the end that he was not trained in Acrobat Reader DC and couldn't help me. Of course, I do not know why he didn't tell me at the outset that he couldn't offer support, since the description of my problem clearly stated it was an Acrobat Reader DC issue - not to mention, we connected remotely so I could show him the issue, which I did a few times at his request).
So at this point we are feeling really stuck. We are loyal Adobe Creative Cloud customers - but when we reached out to Live Chat support they referred me to this forum. I've noticed several other tickets about similar issues but with no resolution.
Any insight or guidance will be so appreciated by us!

Fill and Sign won't open
When I open a pdf and click on "Fill & Sign", it does not open document and allow me to edit that document anymore. "My Profile" comes up instead and I can only return to Reader, which doesn't allow me to edit. This is a new problem that just started last week, no other computer issues seem to have caused it. I also am up to date on newest version using mac (2018.011.20063). Any ideas?

DO NOT want to use a digital ID but a simple JPG of my signature.
Hi, I was trying to set up a digital signature on my computer. It did work when I first set up and tried out on one random file. BUT when I did the second time, It only gave me the option of CREATING A SIGNATURE BY USING A CERTIFICATE> CREATING A NEW DIGITAL ID OR IMPORTING AN EXISTING ONE.
I DO NOT want to use a digital ID, I just WANT to use a simple JPG of my signature.

I have a new acer aspire R15 2in 1 PC with windows 10. I am using Adobe Reader DC to view pdf's and they work fine as long as I have the PC ins the position called laptop with the keyboard out front. These pdf's are all set to open full screen.
I have a new acer aspire R15 2in 1 PC running on Windows 10. I have many pdf's that are set to open full screen. I am using a freshly downloaded copy of Adobe Reader DC to open these pdf's. They open full screen and work fine as long as I have the PC physically open as a laptop with the keyboard in front. When I turn the
keyboard under or to the back in tablet mode the pdf's open as a black screen when I open them directly from the folder or from a hyperlink in an excel spreadsheet. If I open Adobe Reader DC first and then open the pdf inside of it they open full screen like they should. I need to be able to open the pdf's in tablet mode with touch screen from an excel music playlist. Works in physical PC configuration but not in physical tablet configuration. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Navigating to Previous View with Acrobat Reader Mobile App
I've searched this concept for days and have found mostly outdated responses. I've created a PDF in InDesign with a button to take you back to the previous visited page(or Previous View as Acrobat terms it), using this code:
app.goBack();
I've also tried creating the button in InDesign and applying the action "Go To Previous View".
Both of these methods work on a full version of MacOS or Windows. Neither work on iOS(the latest version on a 2018 iPad Pro) or Android. Has anyone had luck with this, or could it be a security issue on mobile devices that won't allow storing the history of pages?

How to add black mark in scanned pdf and scan it again quickly?
This is a scanned pdf file with black mark, and i think the black mark is added by Adobe Acrobat because the black mark is too regular and without any noise dots.
The process may be: ( but i think this process is too complex )
- scan the original paper file to scanned pdf file;
- add black mark on scanned pdf file with Adobe Acrobat;
- print step2 file and scanned again;
My question：
If you have a paper file and want to cover some words on it, how do you do?
I think these black mark added in the file, are not by pen and hands, because it is very square without any flaw.

Newer version already installed
This is the first time i install adobe after i reinstall my windows, but it show error Newer version already installed. I have try clean tool, restart, unplug, but it still the same. And i contact the live chat, they not able to help me too.

3D Measure and 3D Comments in Acroform with reader from attachment

sorry about the long title, my problem is hard to put in a short sentence. I hope someone can help me.
I have a PDF as container with a 3D PDF as attachment. When I open it with Acrobat reader and open the attachment from within the container the 3D functionalites measure and comment are unavailable. When I save the same attachment separately and open it with acrobat reader from disk the functionality is there.
How can I open the 3D PDF from the attachments with acrobat reader and have the functions available? It doesnt work with reader extensions in the container pdf.

Embedding PDF file objects in to Excel 365 fails after latest update
Hi,
After the latest Octber release of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC embedding PDF file objects do not work anymore.
The file link does not behave correctly and also the caption does not work.
Trying to revert the install to an older version, but unable to find one.
Help is needed for
a. The PDF file object failure
b. Downloading an older version

Openen PDF's in Acrobat Reader DC
Wanneer ik een pdf open, duurt het even vooraleer ik kan scrollen in het geopende document omdat er rechts in de werkbalk eerst nog de melding 'Adobe Acrobat Pro DC' moet laden. Waar kan ik dit uitschakelen, zodat pdf's niet eerst even vastlopen bij het openen?

La instalación on line daba error porque decía que ya tenía otra versión, descargo un limpiador de adobe y vuelvo a instalar y nada, busco ayuda y pone que me descargue la aplicación para instalarlo, que no sea on line, y eso es lo que pasa,
El problema inicial es que ya tenía instalado Adobe y funcionaba, actualizaba automáticamente y llegó un momento en que no podía ver los archivos pdf, así que desinstalé todo lo de Adobe en el panel de control, no solo el Reader, y me he vuelto a instalar el flash a ver si fallaba por eso pero igual, llevo toda la tarde con esto y ya no sé qué más hacer

Adobe won't open pdfs
After Oct 2 update have users unable to open pdfs. If you check the processes you will have as many AcroRd32.exe for ever time the tried to open it. Seems to happen most when opening out of outlook or secure email webmail.

Reasonable time to print large file?
Hi,
I expect that there are many variables for this but I wonder if it is possible to determine what a reasonable print time would be for a 13.6MB 80-page PDF file to print (and, more deviously, what might be the fastest way!)?
Printing to a Koncia Bizhub C360 via PCL the best I can get is just under 7:30 as follows.
- 01:05 - Adobe Reader to prepare the file before sending to printer.
- 03:30 - Printer to receive file.
- 02:50 - Printer to print file.
