My computer had Adobe 9.5.5 and it updated to the newest and certain programs on my computer are not working now and I tried unistalling the newest update of adobe reader and redownloading adobe 9.5.5 and it does not work. What can I do ?

Why can't I print a pdf?
I just installed a new HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer. I am able to print from every program except for Adober Reader. I had version 9 and it wouln't recognize that I had a printer installed at all. I upgraded to version 10 and now I can see the printer and select it, but when I click print nothing happens.

Crash on tab from first field

Filling out some IRS forms I am finding it very consistent that if I fill in the name and tab to the Social Security Number field that Reader will crash, not quite every time, but several times today. This not only loses any work done on the current form, but Reader is crashing as whole so partially filled other forms which have not been saved are also lost. I checked for updates, but I seem to have the latest.
Any idea other than, "don't tab" or "ave often"?

Help!!! A bug of the param in Adobe Reader X
I found that there was a problem of using param in opening pdf file after I installed the Adobe Reader X. Such as: #toolbar=0&navpanes=0&statusbar=0&messages=0
For example:
I want to hide the tool bar (Save and Print function) while I am opening the pdf document through the web. The param was OK at the first time to enter the link.
However, When I re-entered to the same link, the tool bar showed out. Also, it let me to save and print. The problem happen after I upgrade the Adobe Reader from 9
to X. The version 9 was no problem. I don't know what happen. Would you help me to fix it? Actually, I perfer to use the updating version of Adobe Reader.

Adobe Reader 10.1.9 acting up
When I try to open a PDF document I get this message 'Problem with Adobe Reader, if it is running exit and try again 0:104'. If I exit and try again I get the same message.
I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall but get an erro message there also.'Error 1316 A network error occured while attempting to read from the file: C:\windows\installer\acro read.msi'. I can't uninstall.

Trouble with Adobe Reader Installation
I am trying to download Adobe Reader. After I click Install Now, it directs me to go to my download file and double click on Adobe Reader Installer to continue. I don't know where to find this. I don't have Adobe Reader Installer in my download file. Please advise.

Acrobat Cannot Connect to the Internal Review Server
Hello
I have a set of users who are attempting to use the Commenting and Collaborations with some PDF documents. Everyone works fine - even people working remotely - all except one user.
We've attempted to troubleshoot the issue from the network side to the Adobe side but nothing has come forth, nor has Adobe or Google been helpful.
So I came here hoping to contact Adobe Support but lo and behold they wont let me contact them directly, even though we have a business account with them [I would really prefer not to make a phone call].
So more about the issue: every time the user attempts to open a document with comments, Acrobat throws the error:
Inside the file, the errors continue:
Of course working offline does not help and there is nothing in the settings that I can see to change or update the review server.
We've attempted re-installing Acrobat with no luck, and looking through all the settings we could find even remotely related but nothing...
Could Really use some help here!

Can't open PDF
Hello, I am a Mac user and recently have been getting the following message when I try to open a PDF
"Adobe Reader could not open 'FILE NAME' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). Does anyone have advice on how to fix this, i have reinstalled the programme but no luck, regards, Paul

Some customers claim they can't open PDF's from my website!
I have my website with weebly - www.pestczar.com and have a list of msds and labels of pesticides that I use and link the individual documents in the emails I send to customers. Some of them claim they can't open them. When I ask them what they do see, most of them say 404 (?) or something about the Reader. What am I doing wrong? Using Adobe XI, when trying to open PDF I get a blank page with small "x." How can I open the docume
Ocassionally I will try to open a PDF. The document is not viewable. I can only see a white page with a small black "x" in the top portion of the page. I have a "repair" in adobe. I have the latest version Adobe XI. Any suggestions on what I can do? I need access to the documents asap.
