REMOVAL & RE-INSTALLATION OF ADOBE XI
I have a problem with Adobe XI - it refises to read some documents I receive from UNISA. I wish to remove it & re-install is to see if I can sort out the problem that way.
When I tried this I recieved the following error message: "Error 1324 : The path ACER LAPTOP MY DOCS 20110823 or the volume is invalid. Please enter it again."
Is there any way inn wish I can force the removal or find where the problem is?

Editing Hindi documents
Dear All,
I face a regular issue with copy-paste of hindi text from pdf documents , im' just unable to reproduce the same hindi on using the paste option. Am i missing some particular font , package or additional download from the reader instaallation.

Reader 11 / Windows Trusted Sites
Hello everyone
I'm trying to configure Adobe Reader to recognize my Windows Trusted Sites so I can enable the protected view for all documents. In the internet options security zone "trusted sites" I already added my fileserver. (file://fs001)
I can't get Adobe Reader to deal with this setting and I don't know why. The "automatically trust sites from my Win OS security zones" checkbox is activated but it won't work at all. It works if I add de location (\\fs001) through the GUI of Adobe Reader. Without this entry I always get the yellow bar on the top.
Can someone help me with this Problem?

Adobe reader has buttons next page and previous page, why not also top of current page and bottom of
Adobe reader has buttons "next page" and "previous page",
why not alson "bottom of current page" and "top of current page" ,
these would be very useful if the page is increase to the maximum left and right

Copy Hindi text from pdf documents
Dear ALL,
Being from a work field of news and journo i use a lot of PDF documents. Unfortunately one bottleneck is faced by me regularly - that is copying hindi language text freom many pdf documents especially from pdf newspapers. Can anyone guide me a solution to this...am i missing any additional installation or support file to the regular adobe reader package.

Copying text from Adobe Reader
I cannot copy text from unsecured documents from Adobe reader. I always get the following error message: There was an error while copying to the clipboard. An Internal error occured.

Adobe Reader 11.0.05 won't always display the GUI when opening PDF?!
I have come across some odd behaviour with Adobe Reader 11.0.05. In particular, the following issues seem to have surfaced since upgrading to 11.x from 9.x.
- Opening a PDF from any application, launches an "AcroRd32.exe" process but the GUI is not shown i.e. you don't see a Reader window or PDF. If you try open the PDF again it will launch another instance of that process and still won't show the GUI. Killing all AcroRd32.exe processes via Task Manager and re-opening the PDF will then work.
- Some users are experiencing the following error when opening PDFs via IE and other 3rd party apps.
We've deployed 11.0.05 across a few thousand 32-bit Windows 7 PCs and it's a little concerning that PDFs won't always open. At this stage it is very random, maybe 1 out of 5 times it won't show the GUI but launch the process. Our only workaround is to advise users to kill all AcroRd32.exe processes and try again.
Our packaged 11.0.05 was created as follows:
AIP created from 11.0 msi > AIP patched with 11.0.04 msp (Q) > AIP patched with 11.0.05 msp (OOC). Transform was created using Adobe Customization Wizard 11.
Oddly, this does not occur using Adobe Reader 9.5.5 (or other versions of 9.x).
Sounds like 11.x is buggy, anyone else experiencing the same issues??

Printing with Version XI of the reader
Help! I downloaded the latest version (XI) of the reader, and now I cannot print. I have a HP 7510, and all the drivers are updated. Did anyone have the same problems? And how did you fix it?

Opening Attachments on iPad
Is anyone having trouble opening attachments on an iPad 2 after installing iOS 7.1?
The failure notification is that the file is corrupt, but this same files open without an issue on a desk machine.
Any suggestions?
I would prefer not to uninstall Adobe and reinstall from the App Store.

Adobe took Over All My Desktop Icons
I accidentally did something to my Adobe Reader. It took over all of my desktop icons. The only way I can fix this problem now is to completely remove Adobe Reader.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
