Can't Print pdfs
Running Windows 8.1, IE 11 and Adobe Reader XI, as of last Thursday I cannot print .pdf's without saving them on my computer first, then opening in Adobe Acrobat and printing from there. I contacted the home office and they are having the same issues. What's up? I've checked and updated all drivers on my Espon and Brother Printers, read the message boards, and have tried some fixes but nothing seems to work. Help please

Combine multiple fillable PDFs on Mac
Hi,
I cant seem to convert the fillable PDFs to static (via printing to PDF or saving to PDF) and therefore cant combine them in Acrobat!

since i update mine and husbands pcs to new adobe the option to print is missing on chrome and firefox. can still print with ie. i need print option as i have to print invoices for my avon account. please help. husbands pc is windows 7 mine is windows 8.1

how to print portrait from acrobat 11, win 8
I am using win 8 on a HP laserjet P1102W printer and only on Acrobat 11 am unable to print in portrait form regardless of file. I have no problems with other software regarding this.

Adobe Read XI
I have been trying to install Adobe XI. The first step is to click the download button and save it, so the first time I tried I put it in my downloads folder, the second time I put it on my desktop. The second step is to click on the installer and begin the installation, problem is that both times I tried it was a "file" and said I needed to open it with a program (such as Adobe, Word, etc.) which didn't work. So now I'm stuck and cannot figure out how to install it. I need it so I can view some documents that require that version.

I get error "This operation is not permitted" after creating form and opening it in Reader...
Hi,
I am very frustrated with this form I have created. I created the form in Acrobat 8 but could not get it allow changes to be saved until I chose to "distribute" form. I did that and now have a form that can be caved once filled out however when you open it you get the error "This operation is not permitted".
From reading some other posts, I have done the following:
Checked security settings and they do not fix it.
Checked that all fields were form fields and they seem to be.
Checked restrictions listed in purple bar and there were none.
Checked for "unembedded" fonts and there were none.
I think using Acrobat 9 might help me but I do not want the expense as I only use Acrobat for forms like this once a year.
Does anyone know what is going on here and can maybe help?

Question about watermarks
Hello,
We have adobe acrobat standard 8.0 in our office and trying to set up watermarks.
After adding the watermark, it shows fine on the screen but when I print the document, watermark covers all the texts and unable to read.
We recently had adobe reader upgraded to Adobe reader XI. When I save the pdf document in adobe acrobat with watermark and open in adobe reader and it prints fine.
There is another PC with same adobe product and can print with no issue from adobe acrobat standard 8.0.
I re-imaged the PC so it is a clean install but still doing the same.
I also set up the pdf to open with adobe reader not adobe acrobat.

can't open file saved to desktop
Adobe Reader could not open_ because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
This just started, maybe since downloading newest version.
What to do?

Can't print PDF's since installing XI
I've searched the boards and haven't found any answers yet. I can't print any PDF's since installing Reader XI.
The error message I get is:
"The document could not be printed." and "There were no pages selected to print."
I've tried multiple one page documents with no success. I have "All" selected for pages and even tried to bring up multi-page PDF's and selected just 1 page to see if that would work. Nothing.
I'm using Windows 7 64-bit. Printer is fine. I can print from web and MS Word. I've tried all help options available including "Repair Adobe Reader Installation" and checked for new updates.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Cancel Abode XI
Took a free trial of Adobe XI Pro but found it absolutely useless as I could not get anything to work as per tutorial. Now when I go to open a PDF file Abode put message to say my trial is over and to licence / buy product. When I close this message down I still cannot open any PDF files and I need to do this urgently. I just want Adobe to finish my trial and go back to the way it was before and maybe when I have more time I can look into it again.

Document prints with unexpected font/characters
Does anyone have any suggestion on what could be causing my documents to print unexpected characters (See example at link: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1208515/img-401083122-0001.pdf). I'm on Windows 7 with the latest version of adobe reader.
