App-V 5 package for Reader DC - RdrCEF stopped working, InPageError
We have followed the white paper solution (App-V Deployment: Reader DC — Enterprise Administration Guide ) for creating a virtual app-v 5 package for Acrobat Reader DC (15.020.20042), and when we use the software after it's deployed (via software center part of SCCM 2016) we occasionally get the above error on either the RdrCEF.exe or AcroRd32.exe. We are unable to deploy this to our users in this unstable state. Any assistance would be most welcome. Has anyone else encountered this behavior?
Adobe RdrCEF causes problems
Hi everyone,
I have been using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on Windows 10 for months and never had any major problems, but today I noticed that whenever I start Acrobat, a few seconds later my cursor will start to flash busy (blue circle next to the cursor), even if I am in Firefox or in Windows Explorer. Despite this being really annoying, I had a look at the processes and found a process RdrCEF.exe which seems to crash continously and causes quite some CPU usage (about 10% on a i7). I found some other threads which merely called DC spyware and offered some registry hacks or suggested to uninstall Acrobat.
Is there any official support on this? What can I do to solve the issue?
Regards
Sebastian

rdrcef.exe crashing 0xc0000022 & 0xc0000409
I have a user that has Adobe reader DC that crashes while opening PDF files. The crashes are with rdrcef.exe, and the error message was 0xc0000022. The software has been uninstalled and reinstalled, and I tried the 'run as' trick and ran the Adobe as a domain admin. After that, the rdrcef.exe error was 0xc0000409. This issue is driving us nuts. I renamed the rdrcef.exe file and the errors stopped for a week, but they came back as rdrcef.exe was either replaced by the reader or replaced by an update.
I see this error a lot when Googling for it, so I would assume Adobe is aware of this issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
The machine is a Dell E5550, 8G, Win7 - 64 bit. We are on a domain network with ~130 users. This is the only user experiencing this issue. Please help!
Thank you for your time!
Saving Adobe Acrobat Pdf's in SharePoint 2013
I am dealing with a issue with having to save pdf files on the local disk, and then having to upload them or re-save them to SharePoint after.
The solution I am looking for is being able to save pdf's directly to/through SharePoint 2013 without having to 'save' twice.
This solution is for our sales staff, as quite often they will save the pdf locally without re-uploading it to SharePoint.
I have spent a week researching this issue with no avail.
Reader asks to accept licensing terms everytime its launched.
So every time I open Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, it has me agree to the licensing conditions, it starts the tutorial, and it resets my preferences. Any ideas on how to stop this?
Disable SharePoint 2010 integration in Acrobat Reader DC
Hi,
Is there a way to fully disable Acrobat Reader DC SharePoint integration, I am currently having the following problems :
Whenever I try to open a pdf file on a SharePoint library through our netscaler gateway, Acrobat Reader DC tries to open the webdav acces to the document without opening in Internet Explorer web integration. Web integration is checked in Acrobat Reader DC. When I use a link to the file it works correctly but when i try to open it through the document library it tries to open through the webdav which doesn't work since I am passing through netscaler gateway access.
If i use Chrome, Edge or firefox it is working fine. If i am using another pdf reader it works fine too.
My PC is a Windows 10 PC with all the latest updates. I am using Internet Explorer 11 latest version.
Using another navigator is out of question since it is one of our business rules to be all Internet Explorer 11 even for our external clients.
Thanks.

RdrCEF.exe crashes, memory leak
A user I support has Adobe Reader DC 15.023.20056. I have cleanly reinstalled the product and rebooted the machine twice.
Windows 7 x64 (6.1.7601 Service Pack 1), 8GB RAM.
If the RdrCEF.exe process is not already running, it consistently crashes upon opening a PDF in Reader and then displays a significant memory leak (have seen it use up to 2GB of memory at about 25% CPU).
Tried disabling Vipre AV (Windows firewall already turned off)
Ran sfc /scannow, no integrity violations
Based on
I have obtained a dump and log file for you. Please let me know where to send.
Thanks,
Ryan

Proxy pop-up
Recently we started to use Adobe Reader 2015 and DC. Also we have proxy server with proxy.pac settings in IE. After launching Adobe Reader 2015 or DC proxy pop-up window appear with asking credentials. We tryed to get rid of it with registry values such as:
!
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\2015\FeatureLockDown\cServices]
"bToggleWebConnectors"=dword:00000001
"bUpdater"=dword:00000000
"bToggleAdobeDocumentServices"=dword:00000001
" bToggleAdobeSign"=dword:00000001
"bToggleFillSign"=dword:00000001
"bToggleSendAndTrack"=dword:00000001
"bTogglePrefsSync"=dword:00000001
"bAdobeSendPluginToggle"=dword:00000001
Also with firewall rules. But it still appears. How can get rid of it finally?

Very Slow Speed between acrobat dc reader and outlook
HI
I have winedows 7 on my laptop. We have installed DC Reader. I can open DC reader and choose email and my email (outlook 2016) open immediately.
We also have a windows 10 server. With DC Reader, but when I choose email from DC Reader, my outlook take ages before opening. What could be the solution. Because we are sending a lot of emails from our server and the speed is driving us nuts.
So there must be something between the server and DC reader that does not work as it should.
Could you please be of assistance.
