I tried to open a hyperlink using Adobe Reader and in the pop-up window asking if I trusted this website and wanted to open the doc, I chose the 'Block' button by mistake. Now, I'm unable to access any hyperlinks for this website in my PDF doc and I don't know how to undo this blocking action. Any help?
how to authorize weblink after blocking web domain by mistake?
When I click the "Fill & Sign" tool, my PDF document disappears and is replaced by a blank screen. What am I doing wrong?
I am new to using the Adobe Reader DC application. It opens PDF's fine, but the first time I tried to use one of the free features (Fill & Sign), my PDF disappears and is replaced by a blank screen. I can click on the editing tools (i.e. Text) but since my document is not visible the tools do me no good. I know that the Fill & Sign tool is a free one, so I don't have a clue what I am doing wrong. I've tried multiple PDF files with the same result.
When opening a purchased etext, error message reads, "The server answer is an HTML error page."
I am using a MacBook Pro and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. I purchased an etextbook from Pearson that expires in 160 days. The instructions read,
NOTE ABOUT DESKTOP PRINTING: Your ebook permits only ONE desktop printing session. If you wish to print your entire digital publication, you must print the entire file all at once. Printing just a portion will count as your one and only session.
- Make sure you have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. If not, go to http://www.adobe.com/products/reader.html and follow the instructions for downloading.
- In order to view your downloaded content, you must first download the Adobe Plug-in by clicking on this link:http://plugin.fileopen.com/Default.aspx?bhcp=1 and following the Adobe instructions for installation. You will only need to download this plug-in installer once.
- Go back to your bookshelf on www.pearsonecontent.com and click the "Download" button next to your content. Make sure you are familiar with the location of your downloads. If possible, we recommend saving the content to your desktop.
- Open Acrobat Reader. Click File > Open and navigate to your downloaded content. Select the content and click the Open button.
- You will be able to read your content anytime during your subscription period by opening it via Acrobat Reader.
IMPORTANT FOR MAC USERS: The FileOpen plug-in is not currently compatible with Adobe Reader 11 for Mac. If you are using Mac OS X, please use Adobe Reader 10, available here:http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?platform=macintosh&product=10
The weird thing is, I've been opening the etext in Adobe (with the plug-in downloaded as stated above) successfully for a week. I now get the error message "The server answer is an HTML error page." I haven't made any changes to Adobe or my laptop. I've contacted Pearson and they don't know what the problem is.
I also can't seem to download an older version of Adobe Acrobat Reader even when directed to that website, but I feel like that's irrelevant since I was viewing the etext on Adobe for a week even with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.
What does this error message mean?
Adobe Reader X: How to disable resource file locks of PDFs
Hi,
I develop PDFs using LaTeX tools, and like to view my PDFs with Adobe Reader X (I am currently using version 10.1.0.534) on Windows XP.
Unfortunately, I cannot compile my LaTeX documents using pdflatex (or otherwise) when the file these tools are trying to write to are open by Adobe Reader X, which appears to place a resource lock on open files.
Is there any configuration option to prevent the Reader X from placing a resource lock on files? It is frustrating to have to manually close and re-open the reader whenever I recompile my PDFs that I am resorting to other PDF readers, like Sumatra or Foxit, which don't place locks on PDFs they read.
I understand that the resource lock may be a solution for dealing with problems related to ActiveX components for IE, but I only use Chrome and Firefox, so this is an unneccessary and annoying behaviour.
Thanks in advance,
Ratzski
How do I remove the right hand pane in Reader DC
How do I remove the right hand pane (export pdf, create pdf, edit pdf, etc.) on Reader DC? It takes up a quarter of my screen and I never use that stuff!
Thanks for your help!
Acrobat Reader keeps crashing on me...
I'm using Acrobat Reader, Windows 8.1 on a PC...
Most of the time when I'm opening and reviewing documents, the program "stops responding" and freezes. I end up having to close it and then re-open each doc. It operates ok for a while then does the same thing, especially when multiple docs are open. Very frustrating...

The title says it. I try to save a document after making changes to it, but a blank window opens. It is like this since last update. What can I do to resolve this situation?
Many thanks,
Stuck in "take a snapshot" mode--Esc not working
Please help! The 'take a snapshot' function is permanently enabled and the drag function with the 'I' bar is disabled. I searched a couple of other threads, but the proposed solution of hitting the 'Esc' key does nothing for me.
Possible to split spreads into single pages with Reader?
There is an old thread where someone took spreads in Reader and was able to "print" them to a new PDF with only single pages. I'm having trouble following these steps in Acrobat Pro 2015 Release (Continuous). We get PDFs from a publisher with a single cover page, multiple spreads, and a single backcover page. We'd like to convert this into all single pages.
Is this still possible?
Thanks!

Why can't I open Acrobat Reader DC application Windows 10
After unstalling Acrobat Reader DC on my computer with Windows 10, I can neither open the application via its desktop icon, nor from any pdf file on my system. I've associated pdf files to Acrobat Reader DCV via the Control Panel>Default Programs>Associate a file type. Acrobat Reader DC was installed after using the Cleaner Tool. However, pdf files open OK via Microsft's Edge when it is associated Acrobat Reader. This anomoly started after updating Windows 10 to Microsoft's Windows Update of November 2015.
Page Order
I just purchased Acrobat Pro DC, only so I can change the page order in a Word document which I converted to PDF. Problem is, every time I click "Tools" and then "Organize pages" it's asking me to purchase the Add-On. When I click to purchase the Add-On, it says I've already purchased it. All I want to do is change the page order of my document. Help....

Hate Adobe product
I hate all Adobe product.
since 2002
- Any of Adobe product is friendly user, especially Adobe Acrobat Reader, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Reader has lot of bugs or weak programming / user interface. When you create a text 'Callout' in some case (don't know when) it is difficult to get out from it. Also in 'Callout' sometime in properties I can change the font and in another time I can't (no proper properties bar is shown).
- Adobe reader cannot predefine default text size, in its Preference settings cannot do anything for such problem
- Update problem asking (as user said, I faced it also and I have a registered product)
-Adobe premiere has defect video ration and quality and really it is difficult to understand comparing to 10th of other easier software made by other companies
-Adobe photoshop is powerfull, but not at all easy. not user friendly. In some functions it is OK... but overall not.
Those what I remember, and fast writing about. There are many and many of problems which I hate of Adobe product.
Suggestion: Check Microsoft Easy and friendly user interface, Check AutoCAD Easy user interface, Check many of video editing programs (I will not make an Ads here for them )
Photoshop need 30% of enhancement, Adobe Premier 70% and Reader 70% to be good software

Who should I contact here to stop my account

Any help with this matter I would appreciate very much.
The Fill&Sign feature does not save all the fields
When I use the Fill&Sign function in the Czech version of Reader DC it does not print and save some of the fields (I am trying to use it to fill the non-form documents). It seems to be somehow linked to the use of several special Czech characters - if I create the same text in plain ASCII, it works OK.
Quite frustrating when I put down all the pieces of texts and later find half of them missing in the printed or saved document...
Any hint to get this work?
Acrobat Reader DC in Windows 7 Pro.
PDF doesn't look like Word doc saved
When I upgraded to Adobe Reader DC, something happened to the conversion from MS Word to PDF. The spacing and line/page breaks are off with no particular pattern - sometimes it cuts off the last few lines and puts them on the next page and other times it looks fine.
I have tried to adjust the spacing on the word doc to trick PDF into putting those few lines onto the next page and again, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Has anyone had this issue and found a solution?
I'm thinking I should just uninstall DC and revert to a previous version until they get all the kinks worked out...
Thanks!!
PDFs open with a grid background
When I open a PDF I have faint grey gridlines in the background, and larger, brighter blue gridlines as well. How do I remove these? they are very distracting.
