Is there a separate Adobe Reader app for the desktop interface in Windows 8? Also, how do you print from Reader in Windows 8?
Adding more specifics--I'm sorry for my ignorance here. I've been using computers a very long time (since before Xerox started their transition from their propritary pre-windows lease-able networks to Windows 3.1.1) but Windows 8 has made me feel like a total idiot one minute and like throwing my brand new laptop against the wall the next. I hated to give up XP, but when my old laptop literally broke in pieces I had to replace it. Windows 8 came on the new computer. I'm trying to use the desktop interface but opening a PDF takes me to a version of Reader that seems designed for the primary Windows 8 interface. I haven't figured out how to print from it yet. I discovered I could download a desktop version of Skype and avoid the Windows 8 interface for that program. I was wondering if something similar was available for Reader. If not available as a separate app, is there a way to configure it to be desktop-friendly?
AT LEAST, someone tell me how to print!
