Windows Service no longer able to print PDF files using Adobe Reader 11.0.07.79
We have a Windows Service that watches a folder for PDF files to be deposited. Once awakened, it executes the Adobe Reader in command line mode to print the PDF files to secure check printers. The Windows Service was working fine with 11.0.06.70 but no longer works with 11.0.07.79.
There are no event viewer errors or errors returned to our Process.Start() call. The Windows Service is running under the identify of an administrator account and has explicit full access to the printer. We have also tried the local computer's Administrator account as well as the default Local Service, but none work.
Using ProcMon to examine the failure, it showed Adobe Reader making many successful registry and file accesses. Adobe Reader then creates a new process, another instance of itself to read in the PDF file and print to the printer. However, ProcMon only shows Adobe Reader accessing AcroRd32.exe, syswow.dll (sp) and ntdll.dll and then the thread and process immediately exits with an exit code of 0 (no file or registry accesses). So, something is causing the instantiated process to fail immediately.
After more research and trying many things, we disabled "Enable Protected Mode at Startup". This enabled things to work again.
We are concerned that disabling this feature might expose security concerns for our customers.
We are suspecting that some security concerns were tightened with 11.0.07.79 that has inadvertently caused printing from Windows Services to falsely be identified as security violations. Can you please investigate and provide a resolution?

i cant open pdf files on my computer
when i attempt to open any pdf file i get nothing adobe reader does not open when i manually open adobe i can open a file by searching for it i set adobe reader as the default program,even if i right click on file and chose adobe reader nothing happens when i open the help on the reader and it says version and then if i click on version it will scroll through these different versions i am using windows 7 proffessional never had a problem till i updated to new version

How can i write in Hungarian? Version 11.0.07 adobe reader
I am learning Hungarian and some of the files require me to type into certain areas of the worksheet. I have looked through the languages area in preferences section but it only has English. I am not highly tech savvy but i would imagine there may be a language pack which will need to be installed, do you know where i could find this or if there is an easier solution could you please let me know?

Unable to find "Submit" button for completed forms
Received a form with the following in the purple area: "Please fill out the following form. When finished, click Submit Form to return the completed form. You can save data typed into this form" There is no Submit Form button. How do I add the button?

single page print out getting split into multiple - Want to print on one page pdf
I have generated data model in Microsoft S S A S for one of the database, I want to print it to one pdf page however when I do print it to file it is split up into multiple pages, which is causing difficult to read the model.
Any help will be appreciated.

adobe reader not opening
When I open Adobe reader it is showing " Windows can't find 'C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe. Make sure you type the name correctly.
The same message appear when I click any PDF document.
Please suggest me how to resolve.
My computer information:
Browser: Chrome
Windows 7 Home Premium

adobe reader is not more current since the update of mozilla firefox 30 - i have 11.0.7.79 what`s wrong by that
the update for firefox 30 adive by check, that the adobe reader, which is current, is not safe. Is that an error of mozilla or

I can't print PDF docs since Reader XI update
Help!!!!!!! I can't print PDF documents since updating to Reader XI. Had no problems before this update. I have read other users posting and tried one "fix" that was suggested suggesting user try to print docs as "image," but that choice was not active to select. I can't print even older PDFs that are on file in my computer. Please advise - this is interfering with my business. Thanks. I get an error message indicating "no pages selected to print" even though it defaulted to Print All. I selected by one page, pages 1-5, etc. with no success. Windows 7 system.

I Created a pdf form in Adobe Acrobat X. Adobe Reader cannont print or save it?
I work for a foodservice company with different locations. Each location has Adobe Reader. I created a pdf form for each site to fill out, save and print for postings ect... They keep getting a printing error. "The document could not be printed" after that it says "No pages selected to print". They also are not allowed to save the file??? I want them to be able to print and save copies. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

VBA Excel 2010 64bits, update 11.0.07, control and library acroPDF.dll not working

I'm well aware of the problems with VB6 and other 32bit development systems, now i have the same troubles with Office 2010 64bit with vba and the same controls. i have some apps that localize pdf files and print them but since the update to 11.0.07 they cannot view nor print the files. Is there any known solution for this ???

Clash between Adobe reader and adobe photoshop elements
I have both adobe reader and adobe photoshop elements 6 installed on my computer.. Since upgrading to the current version of Reader, when I attempt to open a PDF file using reader the file goes straight to Adobe photoshop, were of course it doesn't open properly. How do i fix this ?
