The Find function does not work with one of my pdf files
I uninstalled whatever version of the reader that had been my computer at installed 11.0.06. Same problem. Seems like the Find function has a problem with just one of my many pdf files.
For the problem file, the PDF Producer was IIPDFLib2.x, version 1.5. Fast Web View: Yes.

Cant Convert PDF to Excel
I have purchased the Convert to PDF subscription but I'm having trouble with my file. Part of the file has a greyish background and I suspect that is creating problmes with the OCR. The first column, which has a white bacground converts fine, but everything to right does not convert at all. Any ideas? See below

Blank PDFs open while user uses internet browser
One of the users at our company has a strange issue with Adobe Reader and being on the internet. Randomly when he is on the internet Reader will open 1 blank PDF. After exiting that black PDF that pops up for no apparent reason a second blank PDF opens. Only after closing the second PDF do windows does Reader stop opening blank PDFs.
To be clear of the issue I was at his desk when the PDFs opened on him, and he didn't even click on a PDF to view. It just seems to happen after he clicks any link on the web.
He uses Windows 7 64-bit professional, and I am pretty sure he has Reader X or later on his machine.
I believe he is using Google Chrome browser when this happens but he just recently said this issue with Internet Explorer, "I accidentally opened up the internet explorer and clicked a KETV news article. This time the pdf problem wouldn’t stop. It opened multiple tabs for the article I was trying to view. And it tried to open a pdf, sometimes more than one pdf, for each tab that opened. I was caught in quite a cycle until I used the task manager to kill it."
If you have an idea why this is happening please let me know.

Cannot view my bank statements in Adobe
I have a Windows 7, 64-bit operating system PC. However, I only use the 32-bit browser (Internet Explorer). I use the latest version of Reader.
I am not able to view my bank statements at all. When I click my View Statement link, I only get a pop-up window with the circling arrow that never goes away.
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing of Reader. I have cleared the cache. I have re-started the PC. Nothing helps. The bank says the problem is with Adobe Reader.
I need help asap. Thanks in advance.

Cannot Print pdf.
Hi,
I am having trouble printing from pdf format, the error message that I get onscreen is: Error: No Documents/Pages were selected.
Using Server 2012 R2
I have tried the following in order to try and resolve this myself.
Deleted App data - Local, Roaming, LW
Reinstalled adobe reader
Downgraded adobe reader.
Printed from Preview.
It is not a problem with the printer as other formats can be printed.
If anyone can help with this it would be greatly appreciatted

Highlight tool skips characters
When using the highlight feature in Reader or Acrobat, parts of the documents don't highlight a solid sentence, or words. It skips characters, and looks terrible. But it does this on some pages in, say, a book, or magazine, and then on others it highlights correctly. Now, in an article prior, the highlight was solid as it should be. How do I make the highlighting consistent?

Number Pad Not Working
I'm using a new HP Pavilion 23 running Windows 8. I have made all the recomneded changes found here and elsewhere. (Touchpad = never, Mouse Keys off)
When I open Adobe Reader and then open a saved file, the Number Keys are now working fine.
However, when I go to a website, for instance the IRS Web Site, and open a form (1040), nothing I do will let me use my Number Keys in those forms.
Is there a setting I'm missing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pdf saves in Notepad .txt file
How do I change the settings to keep my downloads and PDF files from saving to NotePad in a .txt file? I do not want anything saved to NotePad or a .txt file. Somehow when download some PDF files the setting got changed and I have combed my computer setting but cannot figure out how to change it back to normal settings. What to do? I hate this Windows 8.1, its so flighty and hard to find everything! Help!

Is there a fix for Acrobat Pro XI crashing if Preferences is opened?
Using Adobe Acrobat Pro 11.0.06 on an i7 Retina Mac running OS 10.9.2. Opening Preferences causes an immediate crash. Tried deleting com.adobe.PDFAdminSettings.plist, but didn't help.
Given the bandwidth required, would prefer not to have to redownload entire package from Adobe, which I've barely used.

Adobe XI Pro - tools and buttons where tools are supposed to be aren't there
I need to know how to go about finding the tools that should be available to me with XI Pro. I can't find extract page, insert page or delete page as well as any of the other tools I should have. When I watch the videos, I don't have any of the buttons I am supposed to have, where they are supposed to be. I paid $486 including tax and very frustrated that I can't do anythgin thast I should be able to do in an easy and efficient manner. Can anyone help me here or is there a phone number I can call for someone to walk me through this?
