I create and save a PDF.
Then I want to re-open it, edit the PDF and save the changes.
Adobe Reade XI (Pro) requires I re-name the file to save changes each time.
This is a pain due to the high volume of PDF's my job required me to create and edit.

When is Adobe Reader getting stylus support?
As the title says.
It worked with my graphics tablet on the PC.
But doesn't work with the stylus of my tablet PC.
Apparently neither Adobe Reader or the Adobe Reader Touch app supports stylus input.
Surely this must be in the works?

Can't print to edge of #10 envelope
I'm using Adobe ReaderX 10.1.9. When I print a #10 evelope to my MFC 6710DW Brother Injet there is a 13/16" margin which cuts off about 25% my return address on the left edge of the envelope. How do I get it to print to the edge of the envelope or at least within a 1/4"? I spoke to Brother support and after checking settings they determined that I need to speak to Adobe for support.

PDF won't open
I've received a doc that says "If this is not eventually replaced with the proper contents of the document, your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document." I have the most up to date Adobe and still I got nothing! I really, really need this doc to open. Can anyone help?

I get this message most often - except for recently created files: Adobe Reader could not open 'golf flyer.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). Should I re-install?

MacOSX (10.9): Print dialogue box does not appear when printing PDF's
Hi there,
I've been having some troubles with the latest version of Adobe Reader on an intel-based MacBook Pro running MacOSX 10.9 (Mavericks).
Environment Details:
Device type: MacBook Pro
OSX: 10.9 (Mavericks)
Adobe Reader version: 11.0.06
Details:
After installing Reader 11.0.06, the print dialogue box does not appear through the print button or through File -> Print... . As a result, I simply cannot print PDF documents when using Adobe Reader.
- Only 1 MacBook Pro affected
- The print dialogue box does appear for other application (i.e. Preview, Word, Excel, etc., etc.)
- Multiple restarts performed
- Attempted to download older versions with no success
- Attempted multiple uninstall/reinstalls
- Reset the CUPS printing system multiple times
- Validated that the account accessing/using Reader has full administrative privileges to the Adobe Reader application
- Occurs for multiple PDF's from various sources
-> Online source
-> Converted from Word
Additionally (I'm unsure if this is related or not), but after trying to perform an update, I receive the following error:
An unimplemented or obsolete function was called
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unable to print in Adobe Reader XI
I have Adobe Reader 11.0.06 installed on a Windows 7 SP1 64-bit machine and am unable to print PDF files from Adobe Reader.
When I try to print any PDF file from Adobe Reader I receive the following messages "Document cannot be printed" and "No pages were selected to print". This only started happening right after I renewed and updated AVG Internet Security 2014.
I already tried disabling AVG, Repairing Adobe Reader, Saving the file to the hard drive, Reinstalling the printer, updating Adobe Reader, and reinstalling Adobe Reader. The same error appears for every PDF file that you try to print from Adobe Reader so this issue is not isolated to one specific PDF file.
I even tried uninstalling AVG but the issue still occured even when AVG was completely uninstalled.
I was able to get it working by disabling Protected Mode but am unsure if that an actual solution. Is it safe to disable protected mode or is there another solution for this?

Adobe XI
I did a trial of Adobe XI and when I decided that it did little for me I found it very difficult to uninstall. remove.
When it finally was removed I could not open PDF files it had downloaded and could not reinstall the free dobe Reader even though PDF files came with a free install request it would not download the free version or open PDF files. I assume this was punative as the XI was very hard to uninstall and seemed to have some of the characteristics of a Porn Site from years ago...
What should I do to recover PDF files the XI version installed and get another PDF file reader that will work for me, Preferably NOT Adobe..

Find feature in Adobe Reader
How do I use the Find feature in Adobe Reader? I used the Print PDF feature then copied the file from a Windows 7 computer to a CD-ROM and am trying to use it on a Windows 8 computer. The file opens but I cannot use the Find feature. Please help and thanks!
