Terminal Server information passed to local Acrobat Reader

Currently we are using an environment that uses a Remote Web App to access a terminal server application.   When we export to Acrobat Reader, it opens Acrobat reader on the terminal server, inspite of the file being created in a web app, and configured to open in local resources.   We do not have outlook profiles created on the terminal servers, so when trying to email out of the Acrobat program it is attempting to use the terminal server outlook profile, and not the local outlook.  

 

Does this make sense?  Any suggestions on how to fix this?  Basically, I need the "export" function from Acrobat to use the local resources or I need the web app to open the local install of Acrobat.

When I double-click on a PDF with Adobe set as the default app for them, I get the error "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022)" and prompted to "Please close the program".

 

This problem using Adobe DC with Windows 10 has persisted through several updates and it is extremely annoying.

 

1) I tried to repair my installations of:

a) Microsoft Visual C++ Studio Redistributable 2013 x64

b) Microsoft Visual C++ Studio Redistributable 2013 x86

 

2) I downloaded a clean copy of Acrobat Reader DC

 

3) I uninstalled and then downloaded and reinstalled:

a) Microsoft Visual C++ Studio Redistributable 2013 x64

b) Microsoft Visual C++ Studio Redistributable 2013 x86

 

I am still getting the error.

Hello,

 

Our company bought a few "Adobe Acrobat Professional DC2015 12.0 MLP AOO License NL" and could successfully activate it on our client computers.

Though every time they try to edit a PDF they get a notification saying this option is not included in the licence.

 

It happens specifically with one licence key.

 

Can anyone contact me about this issue?

Is there a way to display a page template's name when scrolling through a PDF? As an overlay or pop-up in the page thumbnails, on the main document area, as an image pop-up in the template list dialog, etc?

I am using a HP color laserjet mpf m277 printer.  I can print 1 page and 2 page documents successfully.  Every time i go to print pdf's with 5 or more pages i get a system error page and have to reboot the printer.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer.  I have also uninstalled and reinstalled adobe acrobat.  The problem continues after both reinstallments.  I have contacted HP and they say the problem is with adobe.  The printer prints fine with other programs such as microsoft word.

Hello ,

I have an issue with Acrobat reader DC 2018.009.20050 and Microsoft Outlook 2010 sending pdf file as attachment using send file (envelop).

When i send PDF as an attachment Outlook Freezes and not non responsive , just cannot click anything in Outlook , when i close Acrobat Reader mail is sent though.

 

Steps i have tried to solve issue :

     1. Repair office.

     2. update windows and office.

     3. remove Acrobat reader DC using windows uninstall , using Adobe cleanup tool too.

     4. disable enhanced security.

     5. update the display driver (seems there is "unseen" window over outlook when i try send email via Acrobat Reader DC)

none of this steps helped.

before i try to make more drastic steps (new outlook profile , uninstall/re-install office) is there any other step i can take ?

My system is Windows 7 64bit pro.

I have a form that has a Submit to Email button.  When I select it, I get a message that I don't have a default email client.  I did have Microsoft Outlook installed and it would open that, but I have since deleted this email system and use Windows Live. I also have Cloud Magic installed, and I have a Gmail account.  I tried the Gmail account but it didn't work.  Where do I set this default to Windows Live???

Hey guys and gals,

 

I'm using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (the version w/o any upgrades that was free) on Windows 10 on an HP 2-1 computer.

 

1. Is there any way to toggle between several different PDFs in full screen mode ? (ie - I just want to view my PDF in full screen and then swipe my screen or click or something and then have it go to the next PDF in full screen)

 

2. Can I group my PDFs ? (ie - Have a folder named "songs" and have all my PDFs w/ song lyrics all in that folder and have another folder named "recipes" and have food stuff in that one)

After upgrading to Windows 10 My Adobe Reader DC has stopped responding when trying to change any settings or other choices on the menu. I have done the repair, uninstalled and re-installed the latest version with no luck. I am at a loss as what to do other than change over to Foxit Reader.

Hello,

 

I am having extreme slowness when trying to use the send file feature to attach my PDF to an email. I will click the envelope and then the send file which will then open a new email with the file attached, it can take up to 30 seconds for this new email to pop up, during this time Adobe is unusable, it is frozen up. I have confirmed that both Office( I am using O365) and adobe is up to date. Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

So today, I completely filled out a 10 page PDF and then tried to save it and was given this error code (14.)

I did A LOT of googling and found many suggestions for fixing it but none that actually worked.

I am only posting this to share that I had actually found a loophole for sending the file since I could not print or save.

I went to "File", "Send File", "Attach to email", "Use Webmail (Since I don't have access to Outlook on my comp.)"

 

I was able to log into my email and send it to a colleague as well as print.

Obvi. this is just a temp fix, it doesn't actually help with saving the document as its still corrupted.. but it helped out in a time crunch! Corrupted PDF file, help.

Hello,

 

I need to plot a large alignment to a PDF. It is color coded and I would like to include the legend on the PDF. I have heard that there is a way to format the pdf so that the legend is locked on the same part of the PDF even when scrolling/panning/zooming through the alignment. Does anyone know a way to accomplish this?

I try to open a file in Acrobat Reader "Send for Signature".

After starting the upload I get an error message after 8% to 16% saying "Could not Sent. An error has occurred. Please try again."

My internet connection is working well.

The file is a valid PDF document, has been created with Acrobat as well. Can be opened without any problem with Acrobat.

I have closed the application several times and I have restarted my computer as well.

 

Can anyone help with this issue?

I opened a copy of a PDF previuosly worked with in  Apple's Preview in Adobe Reader for Mac 11.0.23 (uploading to Acrobat.com and working from there). I had turned bare attention to the shape all of my annotations took since there were quite a few of them (over 1500) and thus couldn't let a thought of some annotations being mistreated by the Adobe Reader. Yet this did happen, namely, all text boxes I created in Apple's Preview somehow was changed into boxes with filled in background and the border of the same color as the text typed in each text box, additionaly the border's thickness was inflated from 0 to significant number of pt units. The text got obstructed.

I opened Preferences both in Adobe Reader for Mac and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC v. 2018.009.20050 on a Win 7 machine at my work and couldn't identify any option to toggle to change such handling. The screenshot is below. Is there smth I don't know how to make Reader to treat all my annotation properly?

I have a 500+ page PDF of which i will mark up approximately 10 pages at a time and send off to a client.

 

Is there a function/option that allows me to send only the marked-up pages??

I have searched this forum as well as Google and cannot find the actual location of my digital signature file.  I can get to it via the Preferences, but that does not show the path name.  Does anyone know the actual path to digital signature file(s)?  Probably starts with <user><Library> . . . .

Our site runs personal financial plans and complete plans via PDFs, however only on some networks the PDF doesn't produce, but instead gives us this error message. We've tested various operating systems and browsers, and they all work fine, just depends upon the network.

I though Adobe might have grown out of such silly tricks - see previous threads on this topic going back several years.  Obviously not as it's just happened to me in January 2018.  Bad move - I might go to another PDF reader now.
