I noticed Adobe Acrobat has been updated on my iPad today, without my either my permission or notification. As a computer professional who depends on knowing what has happened with his systems, I don't want applications to *EVER* update without my active involvement. From searching on the web, I find that Adobe has an Updater as part of all its applications, which has caused grief on a variety of operating systems by automatically updating applications behind the equipment owner's back. How do I disable this on IOS? Is it necessary for me to completely remove Acrobat and all other Adobe products from all my equipment?

AcroExch Error with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC
I am having an issue with Microsoft Office and the new Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. For meeting minutes I have been embedding the handouts (scanned copies) into the Word document containing the highlights of the meeting. When I attempted to do this for yesterday’s meeting, the little blue circle just kept spinning and I was able to do anything with the document. I restarted the computer and also tried again this morning. When it did not work, I decided to start from a blank document rather than my template. I received a popup that states “The program used to create this object is AcroExch. That program is either not installed on your computer
or it is not responding. To edit this object, install AcroExch or ensure that any dialog boxes in AcroExch are closed.”
I did a little research on the problem and found what I thought might be a solution of changing the way I embedded the document. https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1260579
However, when I attempted to embed the document this new way, I received a message that Adobe Acrobat Reader DC has
stopped working. Is there a solution for Adobe Acrobat Reader DC?

Cannot print or save fill and sign data in Acrobat DC
Does anyone have any idea why i cannot print or save the data i type into a flat pdf file? this is not a form. This is not an every time problem - it is completely random. Sometimes i can print the data on page 1 but not page 2; sometimes it only prints half the data on page 1; sometimes it prints nothing and other times it prints everything. I can see the data until i hit print or save then it either disappears completely or simply wont print. I've done a search in troubleshooting and it says to print as an image but that is not an option i can select. I've also tried selecting "documents and stamps" and "documents and markups" in the print options - still no luck. I've been using a previous version with no problems but since one person in our group upgraded and DC is not backwards compatible, i had to upgrade as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Save as location
Whenever I want to save edits to a PDF, I'm prompted for a save location. However, none of the default save locations contain my PDF. If I don't want to start saving duplicates, I have to navigate to the directory where the PDF is before saving. This wasn't a problem before the transition to Reader DC and it isn't a problem in any other program I've used. Is there a way for me to guarantee that the Save As dialogue is automatically pointing at the directory where the file is?

using reader for years, message that new version available, chose update, update failed. current version now not loading, uninstalled tried to load new version from download site. Download failed says newer version already exist except it doesn't HEPL?

Error installing Acrobat DC
Error installing Acrobat DC- while running setup the first error message is: the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable, then another message says acroread.msi is not a valid installation package for the product Adobe Reader XI . Computer is Win 10. I already tried running acrobatcleaner, say there is no reader to delete.

Received a message stating that " a font package is required to open this document". The font package it refers to is and Asian font package. We do not need this package. We are trying to open a pdf file scanned on an Epson printer with Quickbooks documents. It only happens on our Windows 8 laptop. Please help. The nature of our business depends on it.

Cannot set Acrobat as default "open with" in Windows 7
Since installing Reader DC, I have not been able to set Acrobat XI as the default program for opening pdf files. I have to do the "open with" for every file, and since I create materials, I almost always want to open with the full program. The Microsoft instructions do not work. I cannot find out how to reconfigure the Acrobat products to override Reader as the default. If anyone has an answer, I'd love to hear it. Otherwise, I'll just have to uninstall Reader DC.

Lost work made with 'Fill and Sign' in Acrobat Reader DC (saved work before exit)
Hello,
I am in a similar situation. I filled in form fields using "fill and sign". I deliberately saved the work as I did it, after about an hour I closed Acrobat Reader DC. I then opened it up again in a minute - and all my changes were there fine.
I've now come back 3 days later and all the changes have gone, leaving only the empty form. Note: I kept a copy of the original form file and it is 0.5MB, the "edited" file is 3.5MB which suggests that the changes are still there, but somehow hidden.
Could you help?

What can I do? I was editing a pdf, After finishing and saving the changes, the Acrobat Reader Shot off and lost all my changes, how can i get them back, it was a lot of work.
What should i do toget back the changes i did in a PDF doc because the acrobat just shut off?
