I have downloaded IRS tax return schedule 1040. I have Reader XI. The form has purple bar, and says it is interactive. But I cannot fill in the form. There is no typewriter icon. I have always been able to fill in tax forms for previous years. Now I cannot even fill in forms in documents that I had previously filled in forms on. Add Text tool does not make any difference. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, no difference. I can click on a field and the highlight turns white, I have text cursor, but when I type, nothing happens, no text appears. I've been told that it's a static LiveCycle form with fillable fields. It's "Extended" with form and save Rights.
What's going on? Please help!
