I have a customer who is running a Windows 2K8 R2 (No SP) print cluster. They use Windows 7 VDI clients. They also use Equitrac Office 4.2.4 and all printers are set up with Equitrac ports and they have set up an Equitrac Follow-You printer using multiple Equitrac e-queue ports utilising Windows printer pooling. The queues have all been set up with the Fuji Xerox Apeosport IV C5575 driver including the Follow-You queue. The standard desktop uses Adobe Reader 10.1.3.
When they print directly to a physical device from any software applications including Reader, it always prints correctly. When they print to the Follow-You queue from other software applications, it prints correctly but when they print from Reader, Reader will close and nothing comes out. There are no messages in the event log. Reader is not running in protected mode as this options is greyed out.
It will be very difficult to upgrade Reader to 11 as the standard desktop has recently been created and will not be changed for a while.
