Today I tried to download Adobe Reader on my new laptop, but I couldn't; the download stopped at 38% and I received the two different messages below.
Download Timeout
Impossible to contact reliable/trustworthy origin
I'm trying to download it from the direct link, but there seem to be issues on there too, as I have a very fast ADSL connection yet the file is being downloaded with a rate 1077 B/s.
I have an Asus laptop with Intel Core i7 - 2.20GHz, 4GB RAM and 500GB HDD; O.S. is Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 (preinstalled OEM version) 64bit.
This is the first time ever something like this happens (a couple of months ago I successfully installed Adobe Reader X on a HP laptop with Intel Core i3 and pretty much the same specs of the Asus), and I think it must be a problem born from Adobe servers - since even my download accelerator is downloading the file at a rate of 14 Kb/s.
Can someone please help me? Thank you.
