Hi
I have read comments in previous discussions, however no solution has been found to date. I am hoping that by resubmitting this question this problem is addressed by Adobe.
In previous versions of Adobe Reader I was able to change the default 'Save As' location for PDF files. This meant I was able to download and 'Save As' PDF files to a default folder of my choosing (e.g. desktop) without having to manually select that folder every single time I saved a file.
In Adobe XI (and possibly even Adobe X), everytime I attempt to 'Save As' a PDF file, the 'Save As' location defaults to an obscure temporary folder. I have to either manually change the 'Save As' location each time or I have to hunt through my C drive in an attempt to find the PDF file.
I would appreciate it if someone could explain how I can change the default 'Save As' location as it is very time consuming (not to mention frustrating!) to have to change the location my PDF documents are going to each and every time I download a file.
