When downloading free fonts, Adobe Reader (I've got the newest version) says, "Adobe Reader could not open 'Scott.zip' because it is not either a supported file type, or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded".
I've tried this off and on for a year, and have gotten a couple fonts downloaded, but have been unable to for a long time. I go directly to site for free fonts, not email.
