I can't seem to install Adobe Reader. I downloaded AdbeRdr11001_en_US.exe (47862 KB) for an Win XP SP3 machine. When I run it (I see it run in the task manager), it does not install any S/W (does not present a user interface for the install, no new file(s) under Program Files, no changes to the Registry and no entries in the All Programs menu. I had the same result when I tried it with AdbeRdr11000_en_US.exe. ** What should I do next ???
