I downloaded the updated Adobe XL a few days ago, and it continues to crash. Everytime I open a .pdf from my desktop I get this error: "Adobe Reader has stopped working," and it closes. I've tried to run the patch available on this site and the "repair" tool from my computer, and neither will load/process. I also uninstalled and reinstalled Reader to no avail. I'm running Windows 7. I can look at .pdfs in the Chrome browser, but that's it. Would appreciate your suggestions.
