AcroRD32.dll file blocked

Hi,

I work in a highly secure environment and we run an application called Sanctuary - basically a whitelist to allow .dll's and .exe's to run - we've recently introduced Adobe Reader 11 into our environment however straight away ran into issues with the above file being blocked by Sanctuary (it blocks the same file twice). When I started to dig through the problem we found that due to Adobe's sandbox feature stripping out AD group membership (which is how Sanctuary interacts with the servers, PC's and laptops) we decide the simple fix would be to simply disable protected mode via a registry clamp. We implemented to registry setting to disable protected mode and when you check preferences - security enchanced - it is disabled however I still run into similar issues when opening .pdf files? If I open a pdf file from c:\ it opens without any issue, if I open it from My Documents it opens fine however if I open adobe - file - open and browse to the same files and open them I get the popup saying AcroRD32.dll is being blocked?

I am not sure if this issue can be fixed by disabling another feature within Adobe Reader or if this maybe something I need to raise with Sanctuary support however I thought I would post this here first to see if anyone has experinced issues with sandboxing in secure environments?

Thanks
