Cant view form content that is there

The application I created allows my applicants to fill in the fields and save the form.  When they send the form back to me, I can not read the content information in the data fields unless I hold my cursor over the field.

How do I view the field content without holding my cursor over the field?  If I print the doc, also the content is hidden. 

How do I fix this problem?
