While trying to download a form, a screen comes up that indicates a new version of Adobe is needed

While trying to download a form, a message comes up that a newer version of Adobe reader might be required. I have 11.0.01 installed. How

can I check that Adobe is the problem,or something else. I had exactly the same screen come up on an I pad.
