I cannot print because no "pages were selected to print"

Whenever I try to print from Adobe Reader for MAC, I get a window that states, "This document could not be printed."  When I click OK to that window, I get one that states "There were no pages selected to print."  Selecting pages does not help.  I reloaded the software and get the same message.
