Recently upgraded from v9 to v 11 on pc. Adobe Reader starts and opens PDFs. However, where the toolbars would be at the top of the screen there are none; instead of this there is space for the toolbars but the desktop is visible instead of the toolbars. In other words the toolbars are completely transparent. Other symptoms:
- On scrolling within a PDF the text becomes blurry and repeats itself down the screen
- After a moment I also get an acrord32.exe error.
BACKGROUND
- Adobe Reader v9 worked fine pre upgrade
- Running on xp sp
- Up to date with windows patches
- Microsoft virus scanner up to date; no viruses
- Desktop is classic windows blue
Any thoughts?
