Deploy Reader updates silently to standard users

If I understand this then silent updates only work for admin users via the armsvc service.  This is the opposite of what we want, we have 500 PCs where the users don't have admin rights (with UAC turned on) and we want to have the armsvc update Reader X without prompting for admin credentials.

I don't undersand what is the point of this update service if it doesn't work for standard users, admin users can apply their updates without the service anyway.  Perhaps I'm missing something?
