Mac plugin blocked on Firefox

Hi there,

I work on a web app that uses LiveCycle documents and iText, so users have to use Acrobat Reader to open those documents.  These documents work great on the Windows version of Acrobat Reader in all the major browsers (IE8/9/10, FF, etc.) with the Adobe plugin, which I manually set to be the default for PDFs in browsers that require it.  Life is good. 

There are problems on the Mac, though.  Particularly, the plugin for Mac, in Mozilla's words, "does not work" so now they just block the plugin, according to this support document on Mozilla's site:

What is Adobe doing to fix this?  Are there plans?  These documents aren't quite working in the Adobe Reader plugin with Safari, either - I will maybe post another question about this once I have more information.
