Several of our users have received the latest update to Reader and now no pdfs will open in the browser. We are using IE 8 because we have a technical manual that will not run in 9 or 10. We have checked the Add-On settings in IE and there is now NO Add-On for Adobe Adobe PDF Reader (we have checked for it under all the drop downs in the Add On Manager) it just does not exist at all. We have uninstalled Reader XI and gone backwards but this has no affect - the Add On is now never installed it seems.
We really need a fix for this as our tech manuals are all PDFs and are online and linked. Opening the main file in Reader and not the browser does not work for us.
