Hello,
I did save a Word document as PDF file. Microsoft Word 2010 was used. The file is in Word 2000 format.
When doing a search in the PDF file Acrobat does find the phrase, however it does not highlight the phrase correctly. Mostly it highlighted some area before the phrase and the area does not need to be vaild text it (see picture). And when I want to search for the next occurence it starts to extend the highlighted area but stays on the same page.
However using other PDF-Reader software search works properly. So I do not assume that Word did something wrong when saving the file.
Altough this is the Acrobat Reader forum, I am using Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional, Version 8.0.0.
Can anyone explain what is happening and how this can be solved?
