Adobe Reader 11.0.02

Hi All,

Not a question, just sharing for the benefit of others.

Was attempting to install Adobe Reader 11 with the 111.0.1 and 11.0.2 updates.  Guidance is available at

Have downloaded the MSI and .MSP files to

C:\WINDOWS\SETUP\SCRIPTS\2.2.1.0

When attempting to install using the following command line

C:\WINDOWS\SETUP\SCRIPTS.2.2.1.0>MSIEXEC /I AdbeRdr11000_en_US.msi PATCH=AdbeRdrUpd11001.msp;AdbeRdrSecUpd11002.msp

I got

This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package

After a bit more trial and error and closer re-examination of the documentation, the problem is because you must specify the full path to the patch files.  The following command line works correctly;

C:\Windows\Setup\Scripts\2.2.1.0>msiexec /i AdbeRdr11000_en_US.msi PATCH=C:\Windows\Setup\Scripts\2.2.1.0\AdbeRdrUpd11001.msp;C:\Windows \Setup\Scripts\2.2.1.0\AdbeRdrSecUpd11002.msp
