I have an older computer running XP (SP-2 I think) I only have dial-up at home. I am writing this from a library with adequate speed and bandwidth.
Today, at home I received a number of PDF files that would not open. I assume the sender has upgraded to a newer version of Acrobat.
I cannot use the downloader version of Reader XI supplied on the Adobe web site--the library won't let me install the program to download. I need a FULL (or offline) version that I can take home on a flash drive and install there. Can you supply a URL? and I'd suggest that you include this on your web page.
I also note Reader 9.5 with the same downloader option. Can you supply a URL for that too? would it work with a PDF created in a higher version?
PS I hate to be required to install a downloader to access a program.
