Error message 126 when I try to print.

For the past few months I haven't been able to use the print dialogue box.  I get error 126 and a message to the effect it can't load libraries.  I just uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Reader and no change.  I want to be able to change the print settings.  I use Windows XP Home edition.
