System/Software info:
OS: Win7 x64
Acrobat Reader 11.02
Adobe Flash version (as reported by the flash control panel applet): 11.7.700.169 for both the ActiveX and Plug-in Version
The most recent flash update seems to have broken the ability to open PDF files that use the Portfolio feature.
When launching a PDF that has a Portfolio, the user will get the following error:
I have downloaded and installed this version, as well as the most recent .msi version as well, and no change.
I have also uninstalled Reader and both versions of flash (both through Windows and by using Adobe's flash removial tool), and then
re-installed with the same problem.
This is not occuring on the Windows XP machines however, only our Win7x64 (we don't run any win7x32).
At first, I thought it was only occuring on machines that also had Adobe Standard 10.6 installed, but after some more follow up, it
is occuring on machines without Adobe standard installed as well.
I've read that Adobe has de-coupled flash from Reader, and that the plugin version of Flash is required to view this content (even if the system does not use a browser that requires it). But both versions of the flash player are definately installed and up to date.
Any ideas?
