I have tried several times to download and install Adobe Reader XI. It installs to 97% complete, then a little box opens up staing, "the following application contains files which need updating in order to complete installation of Adobe Reader XI. Please close the application in order to complete installation of Adobe Reader XI. The application that needs to be closed is Adobe Reader 8.1. How do I close application Adobe Reader 8.1 in order to complete the installation of Adobe Reader XI? This has taken me an an inordinate amount of time to get an answer in order to install Adobe XI.
