When I generate a PDF from HTML why does my footer bleed into the next page & result in blank pages?

I am using IE 9 with Adobe Reader X.

We use AbcPDF.NET to generate a PDF from HTML using the MSHTML component installed with IE to generate a PDF. I add headers and footers with a Cute Editor, then save as PDF. One my computer, the footer from one page will bleed into the second page and the rest of the page is blank. The content that was supposed to be on the 2nd page will get pushed to the 3rd page. On my friend's computer, the headers and footers display fine, content is in the correct place, and there are no blank pages in between. This is an ongoing issue and we cannot figure out what the difference between our computers are. We have tried matching internet explorer browser settings, adobe settings, etc. Please help!
