After adding digital signature entire document is blank

Yes that is correct. I see this issue going back to 2010, but not solutions offered.

Version 10.1.6

After filling a  LENGTHY document (which cannot be saved), I add the digital signature. It then indicates the document with the signature can be "saved."

Upon "saving" the original document I had been working on for HOURS is now gone and, replaced with the "saved" signed version.

But now the entire document is now blank except for the signature and the words "Please, use the PRINT button on the Form to Print this form. Thank you."

Further inspection indicates the form fields, text, and other items may be actually sent to the background of the document, and/or hidden.\

This by defintion is "malware"

Please advise.
