I have just done a fresh install of Windows x64 onto my system with just a few programs including Acrobat Reader 11.0.02 (free version)
Install is fine and the icon is shown on the desktop and pdf files icons also change to Acrobat.
The problem is when I try to launch the reader from the desktop icon nothing happens at all. (no timer if loading, no error message, nothing.)
Tried navigating to the install folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader and trying the exe there in normal and admin mode but still nothing.
Done a repair via Programs & Features and also trying the Cleanup Tool but again it won't even open.
I did try accessing a PDF online to see if it even works via a web browser and it does which is very weird.
