Please help.  Mac: in OS X Yosemite, suddenly can't open a PDF document from a large banking website with Reader.  Even though I have the latest version of Reader installed I get the error message:  Adobe Reader   Before viewing PDF documents in this browser (Chrome) you must launch A Reader and accept the End User License Agreement, then Quit and relaunch the browser."  I did all this, including trashing and reinstalling the latest version of Reader.  There was no opportunity to sign the end user agreement.  How can I open these financial documents in Chrome?

Adobe Reader 9 for Windows Vista

Hello,

I am using the SoftTest program for college, and it requires Adobe Reader IX or XI. I currently have version X downloaded on my Windows Vista laptop, but this version is not supported by SoftTest. I am unable to download Adobe Reader XI because it does not support Windows Vista. So I have to use Adobe Reader IX on my Vista laptop, but I'm unable to find a legitimate download for it. Is there a version IX download available for Windows Vista?

Thank you.

Can only open reader once

Whenever I try to open Reader XI or open a .pdf file, it will allow me to open it one time after I start my computer.  If I try to open another .pdf file or even open the first file again (after closing), Adobe Reader will not open. No error messages or anything.  If I reboot my computer, I can access any document again....but again only one document and then subsequent documents will not open.  So only one document per re-boot.  I have deleted and re-installed reader along with all other Adobe products multiple times...nothing helps.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi-

I’m working with Windows Embedded Standard 7 sp1 kiosk devices setup to print vendor badges. According to Microsoft only Adobe Acrobat Reader 9 is compatible with WES 7. Can I get some help in finding a legitimate download for adobe reader 9? I had reader 11 installed but am running into a BEX error below.

Ended the assessment period Acrobat PRO and decided not to hire.

I uninstalled Acrobat and tried to install the Adobe Reader 11. But I got the error code 150120 stating that the product is already registered.

I uninstalled all Adobe products had on my PC (Windows 7).

I cleaned the registry (regedit) All references to Adobe.

Deleted from my computer all folders and files relating to Adobe, except my pdf files.

I keep getting the error 150120.

I find no mention of this error and how to proceed from the Adobe website.

Hi - I have downloaded Adobe Digital Editions (text books I plan to use in a class this spring)  through Proquest.  I cannot figure out how to get text to speech.  It will only read the copyright information, title, and author for every page.  I have tried multiple reading formats, such as Bluefire, Voice Over, Natural Reader, but am not having any luck.  Can someone help me?  I would like to walk and listen to the text being read to me!  Thanks. Adobe reader XI can't get to the X button to close the screen.

JUST to post this I had to make a bogus account in adobe I will never use, and point it to a junk email box I never read unless I am looking for a specific email like the one I had to validate to say that this was a legitimate account. What BS, just to post a freakin message to Adobe about a problem I am having with their software.

I like Reader, even Acrobat, don't get me wrong, but holy crap all this just to post a comment. I know I know, I am old school. OK tirade over.

ENVIRONMENT:

I have windows 7 with all updates.

I have adobe Reader XI (not sure if completely updated).

I have 4 monitors on my computer, and my main monitor is monitor #2.

My start bar is 4 rows high (as opposed to the normal 1 row high start bar). This allows me to keep my tabs ungrouped, and and to easily see at a glance every window I have open.

When I open Adobe Reader, it sometimes opens to the primary monitor but the top of the window is not visible. (See pick one)

This means that I can't see the minimize button, and the X button. I can still close the window using the pop up on the start button, but it is annoying, sometimes I just want to minimize it, and I can't.

As you can see in the picture, the tops of the screens to the left and the right are there, and my 4 row high start bar on the bottom of the main screen, but the Adobe document top is not visible, it is above the visible monitor. NO other program I have does this with my setup that I have used for years.

NOTE: There is another adobe document open in the 3rd monitor (the top right edge of the image) but that is not the document that is the problem. If you look at the start bar, you can see that two adobe reader docks are open, and the problem one, is the second one.

AcroRd32.exe intermittent fault

Hi all,

I am running Win 7 64bit on my works pc, with all current service packs and updates installed.

I have a problem with Acrobat Reader in that it doesn't always open the .PDF file, but leaves the AcroRd32.EXE running as a process visible in Win Task Manager. These "orphan" processes build up and I have to "kill" them all manually.

Sometimes the .PDF will open first time and sometimes it requires several mouse clicks (which results in the process staying).

This happens whether I try to open or view the .PDF in Windows Explorer, Firefox, IE11 or MS Outlook.

I have tried un-installing and re-installing and the error has still persists, it has also been present under previous versions of Reader.

It is now becoming irritating, I suspect it's a registry thing, but has anyone else come across this and do they have a solution ?

Thanks
